Job Vacancy - Field Sales Executive (Agility)

The Company

SoftSols Group has been established for 25 years and has a great track record of developing, supplying and implementing computerised maintenance management systems to a host of international and national businesses across a range of industry sectors including manufacturing, healthcare, education, environmental management and facilities management. This is an exciting period for the company with us rapidly expanding into the Chinese market and releasing a feature rich upgraded version of Agility.

The Product

Agility is a new generation of maintenance software utilising the latest technology. It is extremely easy to use with all the essential maintenance functions you would expect delivered at market leading value for money.

The Position

1.     Account management of a number existing customers involving regular contact to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction whilst maximising sales revenue from the client base

2.     Build and develop a sales pipeline of qualified opportunities for the Agility product range by following up new sales leads

3.     Personal cold calling through well researched telephone calls to industry prospects from pre-selected lists and from other forms of data.

4.     Discuss and document the prospect’s unique requirements and demonstrate Agility’s match to their needs through internet based demonstrations and personal visits when necessary

5.     Prepare and present personal sales proposals using standard sales materials

6.     Adapt and improve sales materials as required and contribute to the overall improvement of the sales process

7.     Personally negotiate and close sales opportunities

8.     Administer and maintain effective sales records within the sales database and produce activity reports as required

9.     Achieve personal activity, revenue and profit targets

10.  Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to the business

11.  Provide input into the planning and production of marketing campaigns

The Person

The right candidate will be preferably experienced with a good track record of sales generation who is seeking a new challenge in the software sector. They must be tenacious, ambitious, as well as professional and articulate. They must be prepared to work independently in a small, but thriving office environment and be prepared to travel extensively in the UK. There will be full product training given and the necessary support to succeed in the position.

The Rewards

£ competitive basic salary based on experience + unlimited commission. Extremely good on target earnings. 20 days holiday per year, company car, company pension and life cover after a qualifying period. There will be significant opportunities to progress as the business grows both in the UK and overseas.
