Job Vacancy - Part Time Technical Authors / Testers
Our development team are continually enhancing Agility with a combination of new business functionality and new innovations to provide users with improvements in system navigation, ease of use and interaction with other systems.
The implementation team also use the inherent flexibility of Agility to meet customer specific needs involving customised screens, menus and reports.
We are looking for Part Time staff that are willing to develop a detailed understanding of our customer's requirements and use their knowledge to test and/or document the Agility system. We are therefore looking for people who can;
- Quickly learn how new software applications work.
- Write clear, concise instructions
- Communicate the advantages and benefits of our software in manuals and web site content
- Contribute design improvements and ideas into the enhancement program for Agility
Candidates must:
- Demonstrate the ability to produce high quality written documentation
- Be self motivated and able to work without constant supervision
- Be able to understand business software applications
- Be able to communicate effectively with developers, implementation consultants and end users
- Be able to track and control work and ensure results are delivered on time and on budget
Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate the following capabilities:
- Communicate clearly, concisely and accurately in both written and spoken work.
- Effective self-management skills including time management.
- Mastery of Microsoft office tools including Word, Powerpoint and Project.
- Pays close attention to detail.
- Committed to delivering to the client on time, to scope, within budget.
- Able to think creatively to solve problems.
- Hard working and committed to delivering against tight deadlines.
Candidates must be prepared to travel to our European offices in Poland and visit customer sites throughout the UK as required often involving overnight stays.
